Candles have different symbolic meanings for different events. Who could ever go without candles during birthdays? Every child, and even some adults, look forward to blowing out the candles. Christian weddings also include a candle ceremony. No funeral is complete without candles. More than just a source of light, candles serve a symbolic purpose for different events in our lives.
